A sliding scale fee, where individual fees are determined based on their ability to pay, as determined by their individual and household incomes is used. This structure promotes equitable access to healthcare by allowing those in our community who are able to pay full fees to support the service in providing low-cost treatment to those experiencing financial challenges who may otherwise be unable to access mental health care. The standard 50-minute consult fee is $250. A Medicare ‘mental health treatment plan’ (MHTP) rebate of $145.25 may be available. Sliding scale reductions are available for low income earners during business hours.

While you're welcome to pay privately or discuss the possibility of third-party payers for your treatment, to access the rebate of $145.25, you'll need a ‘mental health treatment plan’ (MHTP). You can get a MHTP by booking an appointment with your General Practitioner. It's a good idea to let the GP practice admin know when booking that you would like a MHTP, as they often require extended appointment times.

If your extras cover includes mental health, you may be eligible for full or partial rebates from your private healthcare provider. However, you will need to check with them prior. If you are eligible. You will still need to pay directly and to contact your provider for rebates.

Please note that last-minute cancellations can result in significant loss to small healthcare businesses. Therefore, in instances where one-business day's notice is not provided, A cancellation fee of 50%. will apply. In the case where less than one hours notice is provided, the full fee will apply. Rebates cannot be for issued appointments. Appointments can be changed to telehealth where needed.
